At the Fair

8 Aug

At the Fair. In 100 degree heat.

Ferris wheels, corn dogs, duck pond, crazy rides, and playing with bokeh.

Wow! These photographs of your experimenting with bokeh are fantastic! Mine look terrible in comparison ;). Looks like i need to find something lit in a low lighting situation… is that the best way to get good results? I love these!

Thanks! This was my first time w/ bokeh, and I really don’t know what I’m doing… That said, I think if you’re photographing lights then low-light might look best. I just put the camera in manual mode and got the lights really out of focus. Have fun experimenting! AND, I really liked your flower pictures. They were very artsy.

Hi I was visiting Polly Hoyt Nance – The Scattered, Flower-Petal Bokeh Experiment blog and linked here to see your ferris wheel bokeh. Great results, the last post is amazingly deep both visually and imaginatively.

If you find yourself needing to fill a minute or two stop by my photo blog and poke around!

Thanks! I checked out your blog. I really enjoyed the Frank Lloyd Wright architecture photography and the macro shots.

I can never get enough of carnival shots. Especially those last 3 with the bokeh ferris wheel lights! Just lovely!
