Obligatory New Year’s Resolutions Post

1 Jan

First of all, Happy New Year!

We let our kids stay up late last night to ring in the new year, and tried to explain to them the significance of what happens when the clock strikes midnight.
Anabel fell asleep at 11:55, but Ollie made it to 2013.
I don’t think he was impressed.
We also explained the tradition of making resolutions and goals, and we all made three goals of our own.

Here they are…

Resolutions 2013

1. Learn to crochet well enough to make a scarf.
2. Make a schedule and sort of stick to it. Be more purposeful with my time.
3. Start running again and run a half marathon.

1. Work out more consistently.
2. Get the barber shop opened.
3. Run a half marathon with Megan.

1. Make my bed without being asked.
2. Clean up without being asked.
3. Obey the first time.

1. Eat more.
2. Be a ballerina.
3. Obey the first time.

Anabel’s first goal is probably my favorite.

I’m continuing with a lot of my resolutions from 2012 as well.

How about you? Any goals for the new year? I’d love to hear what they are!
